CPW Supports Local Causes with Charity Day for a Third Year

With two years of successful charity days under our belts, CPW continued this tradition with our first charity day of 2025. At the end of May, we closed our doors for the day and encouraged staff to get out into their local communities and do something to make a difference.

Teams across the country got involved in fundraising efforts and rolled up their sleeves for hands-on voluntary work. As a group we raised £840 and spent more than 660 hours volunteering our time - well done all!

Our teams got involved in a whole host of activities including:

  • Grounds maintenance and painting

  • Charity Walk

  • Collecting and sorting charity donations

  • Rescue dog walking

  • Litter picking

The teams are all able to pick the charities and causes that mean the most to them. In May we supported:

Alderbrook Academy | Autism West Midlands | Children's Storehouse | Forest Dog Rescue | Heronfield Small Breeds Farm and Animal Rescue | Knowle Donkey Sanctuary | Lauderdale House, London | Leeds City Council - Countryside Rangers | Love Solihull | Nether Hall Special School | Newlands Bishop Farm | Parkview Day Centre | Solihull Hospital Haematology & Oncology Day Unit | Southwolds Primary School | St. Ives Scout Hut | Wenlo Riding | Mikey's Wish & Dizz Kidz.

For all their hard work, our teams received some lovely feedback and even had a donkey named Boris sponsored in their honour for a year!

A big well done to all the teams who have been making a difference to their local communities - we’re so proud to have such passionate, hardworking staff members!
